A variety of schedules are available to meet your family’s needs. Every program requires a 2 day minimum enrollment. Tuition is based on your contracted schedule. The full day program operates year round.

Morning Classes for 3 and 4 year olds – 9:30 – 12:30
Afternoon Classes for 3 year olds – 1:00 – 4:00
Preschool Enrichment for 3 and 4 year olds- 9:30-4:00
Monday – Wednesday – Friday
Tuesday – Thursday
or Everyday

Kindergarten Enrichment- 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week

The part day and enrichment programs follow the Carroll County Public School Calendar and operates September through June.

Little People’s Place participates in Maryland State Department of Education Accreditation, MD Child Care Credential, and MD EXCELS. Through MD EXCELS, Little People’s Place has acheived competencies in the areas of Cultutral & Linguistics and Health & Wellness. The center is also registered as Eco-Friendly and Asthma Friendly.

All children enrolled at Little People’s Place will receive a morning and an afternoon center provided snack that consists of two food groups. Snacks that are served follow the state recommended guidelines. Snack menus are provided for the parents to view. Parents are responsible for providing their child’s lunch daily. We request that lunches be stored in insulated lunch boxes with ice packs. All classrooms are equiped with a microwave to provide children with the option of a warm lunch. Parents are also encouraged to send special snacks with their children to celebrate a birthday or for special parties and events.

All of our childcare providers are required to have infant and child first aid and CPR training, basic health and safety training, COVID training, and ADA training. There are staff on campus that have been trained in Emergency Preparedness and Medication Administration.

The Director has a BS in Early Childhood Education/Administration. Each primary teacher has a 4 year degree in Early Childhood Education. All assistant teachers either have their degree or are actively pursuing their early childhood credentials. Teachers maintain their yearly education requirements by completing MSDE approved continued training classes. All employees participate in the Maryland Child Care Credential program.

All families are required to enroll in our automatic payment program, Tuition Express. Our full day program collects a weekly tuition, that is collected every Monday morning. The part day preschool and enrichment programs collects a monthly tuition that is debited on the first business day of the month. All tuition is due regardless of attendance. Little People’s Place also participates in the Maryland Child Care Scholarship program. Little People’s Place involves our families into the program with in classroom expereinces that exhance the curriculum, extra center events, field trips, workshops/trainings, and more! In the community we have partnered with Carroll County Public Schools, the Judy Centers of Carroll County, Child Care Choices, and the local Early Childhood Advisory Council. We continously add to our partnerships and share the most current ones with our families.
