The owners of Little People’s Place have made a total commitment to the safety and security of our families in the new year. Our efforts include: the installation of additional security cameras that record activity 24/7 on a 30 day rotation; construction of “safe rooms” in which children can be sequestered in case of emergency; the addition of key pads like those on our entrance doors to interior hallway doors; replacing some doors with solid steel ones; barring windows where necessary; and installing “bull dog” security bars on recommended doors. Teachers will then be trained in conducting lock down drills in conjunction with our typical fire drills.
We hope all schools, child care centers, and home care centers will follow these initiatives to guarantee the safety of our little people.
